MAMAMARATONA 2018
The Luna Hotels & Resorts group, is associated to the oncological association of the Algarve with MAMAMARATONA. This year with integration in the circuit "Portugal running Portimão" is expected an unprecedented membership!

Mamamaratona has been the biggest solidarity event in the south of the country and from year to year the Algarve Oncological Association (AOA) aims to grow this initiative, not only in number of participants but also in quality of organization. Thus, this year's edition of Mamamaratona 18 will be integrated in the circuit "Portugal a Correr Portimão".
The March or Race (6 kms) will have the important objectives of fighting against cancer, in particular of the breast; awareness of the practice of a healthy lifestyle and awareness of the practice of physical exercise as ways of preventing cancer. Being an event of solidarity, in organizing the Mamamaratona AOA also intends to raise funds for its work in support of the cancer patient and family.
As for the event "Portugal a Correr Portimão", the same will be organized by Global Sport, in partnership with the Municipality of Portimão, in the competitions of Mini (10 kms) and Meia (21 kms) Marathons.
Allied to this sporting concept, we return to the social aspect, because the cause that moves us is noble and it is thanks to the entities that embrace it that we managed to carry the message of solidarity and support to the oncological patient to the approximately 6000 participants of this event, year after year. Together we won the challenge!
